MECA Memorial Scholarship  

Each year MECA (Montana Electric Cooperatives' Association) distributes two $500 college scholarships. Winners are selected by a five-person selection committee comprised of co-op member services staff. To apply for the MECA scholarship, download the MECA Scholarship Application. Ravalli Electric Co-op "Luck of the Draw" Scholarships

Ravalli Electric Co-op annually distributes 12 - $1,000 college scholarships to graduating high school seniors in our service territory.  Students must be planning to attend any accredited 2 or 4 year institution of higher education.  Parents or legal guardians must be a REC member at the time of application.  Applications are available at REC or from our web site www.ravallielectric.com.

Students must have maintained a "B" - 3.00 - grade point average from freshman through junior year and through the first semester of senior year.  Students who are home schooled may apply and are asked to include their test scores from either the ACT or SAT college entrance exams.  Students must be a U.S. citizen.

The student and at least one parent or legal guardian must attend the annual meeting.  Applications must be received by the cooperative after January 31, 2008, but no later than 4:30 p.m. close of business Friday, May 23, 2008.  Students will receive a letter acknowledging receipt of their application within seven days.  If the student does not receive a letter, we did not receive their application.
