Can I rely on Automatic Credit Card Payments to pay my bill?

 

 

Absolutely. All you have to do is make sure there is enough credit in your account. We take care of all the rest. Just remember, if there are any changes to your card, for example a new expiration date or you receive a new card you MUST notify us of these changes immediately. Automatic Credit Card Payments will expire when the card we have on file expires.

How do I discontinue automatic bill payment?

 

 

Simply call or write REC with your request. We want to serve you in the way that is most convenient and comfortable for you and will gladly resume standard billing if you request it.

How do I sign up for Automatic Credit Card Payments?

 

 

It’s simple. Just complete the Credit Card Authorization Form and return it to us at your convenience.

How does Automatic Credit Card Payment work?

 

 

Your monthly statement will be mailed; it will have the note on it “PAID BY CR CARD”. Each month the amount due shown on the bill you receive is deducted from your Credit Card automatically on your due date.

Although you won’t have a cancelled check for your receipt, the deduction for your monthly electric service will be shown on your Credit Card statement each month. Your electric statement will also reflect a credit each month.

How long after I sign up before Automatic Credit Card Payments goes into effect?

 

 

This will usually go into effect AFTER the next electric bill you receive. Thus, depending upon when you submit your application, you will have one more billing to pay by check before Automatic Credit Card Payments takes over. You will see the notation on your monthly statement when this goes into effect.
