Warehouse Coordinator

Ravalli Electric Co-op (REC) is looking for a Warehouse Coordinator with strong attention to detail and a safety first approach who is responsible for specialized warehouse tasks and a generalized role in the maintenance department.

You will be responsible for inventory control and management including loading and unloading inventory, reconciling received goods with shipping documents and providing assistance to ensure that all inventory functions are being completed in a timely, efficient and safe manner.

Experience/Educational requirements – An Associate’s Degree in Warehouse Management, Business Administration or a related degree and a minimum of five years previous experience in warehousing is preferred; however various combinations of education and experience will be considered. A strong mechanical aptitude and fleet management experience is preferred.

Must have good computer and math skills, exceptional verbal and written abilities, excellent time management skills, experience with customer service, stocking material/supplies and computerized record keeping, a basic understanding and the ability to master information of utility pole line materials and RUS construction practices. To successfully perform the essential functions of this position employees must have the ability to frequently lift and carry construction materials up to 100 pounds.

Successful applicant must possess a valid Montana Commercial Driver’s License Class A (CDL) with a clean driving record, present a professional appearance at all times, have the ability to travel occasionally out-of-town for training, be and ability to obtain First Aid, CPR, AED and Forklift certifications. Offers are contingent upon completion of a pre-employment physical and background check.
