Ravalli Electric Co-op (REC) prides itself on the educational opportunities we offer to our employees and members. Education provides knowledge and knowledgeable people reduce the risk of accidents, in addition, informed members know how to play it safe around outdoor power lines and equipment.

We can provide your school or organization programs on electrical safety that include but are not limited to the Electrical Safety Demonstration Trailer and video tape programs on other safety topics such as:

• First aid
• Hypothermia
• Outdoor preparedness

The safety demonstration trailer does require advance scheduling of several months so that we may get it to our site. We generally have it in Corvallis in the spring.

REC co-sponsors classes and seminars in conjunction with our power supplier the Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) on various topics relating to Energy Efficiency. We also sponsor trade ally trainings and presentations on such topics as:

• HVAC Duct Performance Testing and Certification
• Heat Pump Sizing and Commissioning
• Energy Efficient Builder Training
