Ravalli Electric Co-op (REC) is excited to announce a new opportunity to join our team! We are seeking a talented and passionate Energy Efficiency Specialist / Key Accounts Representative. As a nonprofit rural electric cooperative, we strive to provide our members dependable service, reliable electricity, and valuable information. Position Highlights

  • Provide advice and guidance to REC members on energy efficiency improvements and cost savings.
  • Conduct on-site residential and commercial energy audits, identifying areas for improvement and providing recommendations.
  • Develop and implement an electric vehicle program.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts promoting REC’s services.
  • Monitor and report on energy usage, savings, and the impact of programs and initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to energy efficiency.

Minimum Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in the electric utility, construction, HVAC, or building maintenance industry, with an understanding of energy efficiency practices.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software programs.
  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including climbing, lifting, and accessing crawl spaces.
  • Valid Montana driver’s license and clean driving record.
